Downbeat Switch is a five piece rock band from Richmond, Virginia with a passion for music, life, and positivity. The band's musical styles range anywhere from funk, rock, reggae, jazz, to even folk, pop, and hip hop. Using extensive instrumental vamping with a jam band mindset, DbS also incorporates rhythmically oriented vocal harmonies and lead vocal alternating to add to their diverse sound. Downbeat Switch is known for their high-energy live shows and hard hitting funky sound that keeps fans coming back for more. Performing together since 2002, there is no end in sight for the enthusiastic group. Downbeat Switch has released several self-produced albums that are all available at shows and at most online music websites.
